About me
I don’t want to talk too much about myself, because after all, this is about you, dear guests.
If you still want to find out more about your host, I have summarized the most important information about me and how I came to have these beautiful apartments in the next few lines.
My name is Katrin Zitzelsberger, and I am 27 years old. Since I was a child, I have loved to travel. I have seen much of the world, and the best part of traveling is getting to know new places and people. I enjoy being inspired by beautiful locations and try to incorporate those ideas into our accommodations. But as they say, “Home is where the heart is!”
This feeling of "coming home," where everything is cozy and warm, is exactly what I wanted: for my guests to feel comfortable. Because you, dear guests, should not feel like strangers here but rather at home—a temporary home away from home.
Behind the scenes
Behind every successful project is a strong team – and for us, it's family that makes this dream possible.
Together with my father, my mother, and my boyfriend, we form the heart and soul of this place. Each of us contributes with dedication, skill, and passion to make our little paradise what it is today.
My father, Karl Zitzelsberger, 62 years old, is the rock in the storm. With his craftsmanship as a metalworker, he has not only worked independently in his profession for many years but has also toiled on this house every free minute. His heart and soul are in every corner of this property, as he tirelessly laid the foundation for our project after work and on weekends.
My mother, Waltraud Zitzelsberger, our “cleaning fairy,” at 64, is the good soul of the house. She not only ensures cleanliness but also lovingly tends to the entire property. The garden, in particular, is her personal realm – here, she truly blossoms and brings everything to life with great joy.
My boyfriend, Christoph Götze, is the all-rounder of the team. As a heating engineer, he is our expert who handles all repairs and is always there when there’s something to be done. At the same time, he is the first to hear my new ideas – and the one who then gets to implement them.
Together, we are turning our visions into reality, step by step. Without this unbeatable team, none of this would be possible. Their support, commitment, and love for this project make it what it is. I am infinitely grateful for that – and I want to take this opportunity to say a big, heartfelt thank you!
